Jasmine Skye Delgado graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art in 2025. Her practice places its firm roots in the art of telling stories of those on the margins of society. Theories that inform her practice are the sublime, queer and feminist theory. Questions come easier than statements or any other form of communication for her. Jasmine has transitioned from the child who asked “too many questions” to the artist who can never ask enough. Her process of art making is meditative, thoughtful, and represents the tug-of-war between the visual beauty and skill possessed and the ugly intangible she tries to express. A profound connection to her faith in a soul combined with the radical acceptance of her physical body and mind unite to create the work seen.
